Rhea Ripley is officially joining WWE RAW. This week’s show played a vignette that confirmed Ripley’s imminent move to the red brand.
The former NXT Women’s Champion has been rumored for a call-up to the main roster for some time now. She had a memorable performance in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, as she was the runner-up to Bianca Belair. It had been unclear which brand Ripley would join, but a few reports suggested that she was bound for RAW. That move is now official.
Ripley made history as the NXT Women’s Champion when she (unsuccessfully) defended the title against Charlotte Flair at WWE WrestleMania 36. “The Nightmare” has remained one of the most dominant competitors in NXT’s women’s division since that loss.
